The Viking Model D Automatic Drip Check drains accumulated water that seeps past a normally closed dry or deluge valve in fire protection systems. Install this component directly into the valve trim arrangement to prevent unintended water buildup and ensure proper system drainage during operation. Complying with standard fire protection design, the automatic valve closes against an increase in flow pressure and opens automatically at a predetermined decrease in pressure.

Contractors can select from four specific versions (D-1 through D-4) to match the exact valve trim configuration being serviced, satisfying the precise drainage behavior required for dry and deluge assemblies.
