This sprinkler is UL Listed and complies with FM Approved standards, affirming its adherence to rigorous safety and performance certifications. Designed specifically for use in both wet and dry pipe systems, the V-BB sprinkler is suitable for installation in combustible and non-combustible sloped attic spaces. It is compatible with steel piping across all system types and with CPVC piping on wet pipe systems, expanding its application versatility.

The VK684 integrates seamlessly with Viking’s Model V-SD (Single Directional) and VK696 Attic Upright sprinklers, enabling system designs that utilize a single line of piping at the attic peak. This configuration eliminates the need for multiple branch lines, significantly reducing both the number of sprinklers required and related installation materials.

In compliance with NFPA standards, the Model V-BB sprinkler features a glass bulb design rated for 200° F. It offers a narrow ridge spacing of 6 feet (1.8 meters) and a long throw pattern capable of reaching up to 30 feet in each horizontal direction. Available with K factors of 5.6 or 8.0, it supports installation across three different slope ranges to meet specific architectural requirements.
