The AG-BFD 2-inch to 4-inch air-gap assembly captures and evacuates mild relief-valve discharge caused by daily fluctuations in system or supply pressure.
Important Discharge Limitation
This air-gap assembly will NOT capture and evacuate the maximum discharge caused by catastrophic valve or system failure.
A separate auxiliary drain, independent of the air-gap assembly, is REQUIRED and MUST be properly sized for the maximum relief-valve discharge rate. Do not use this accessory as a substitute for that drain.
